Atelier & Croft
How we handle your enquiries and look after your information.
Draft for review. These pages are being prepared for launch. Business identity, correspondence details and retention arrangements must be completed before these documents are used as final customer terms.
Draft reviewed: 10 October 2026
Atelier & Croft is a sole-trader business providing appliance care. We determine how personal information is used for enquiries and our services. For privacy questions or requests, email info@atelierandcroft.co.uk. The legal controller identity and business correspondence details are awaiting completion; this draft is not a complete launch-ready privacy notice.
The contact form collects your name, email address, subject and message, plus your telephone number and postcode if you provide them. We also keep an enquiry reference, submission time and email-processing status.
If you arrange a service, we may need your service address, appliance make and model, fault details, appointment information and relevant service records. Please do not include payment-card details, passwords or sensitive personal information in an enquiry. Service photographs should avoid unrelated people and personal documents.
Hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, request times and error logs to operate and protect the service.
Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. The form's privacy checkbox acknowledges that you have read this notice; it is not marketing consent, a waiver of your rights or acceptance of a paid service contract.
Enquiries are stored in our website API database on a Fasthosts-hosted VPS and sent to our business mailbox through Microsoft 365 Exchange Online. These providers process information to deliver hosting and email services. Access should be limited to people who need it for customer service or system support.
Where an engineer or other service provider needs information to carry out an agreed service, we share only what is necessary. We may disclose information where legally required. We do not sell enquiry details.
Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where applicable, transfers must use an appropriate UK data-protection safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or approved contractual protections. Provider locations and safeguards must be verified before this notice is finalised.
We should keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the enquiry, agreed services, applicable record-keeping duties or legal claims. Enquiries that do not become jobs should be reviewed and removed when no longer needed.
The enquiry review interval, service-record retention periods and backup deletion arrangements are being finalised. Automatic expiry deletion is not currently implemented. A proposed 12-month review interval has not yet been adopted.
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Some records may need to be retained despite a deletion request. Where processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email info@atelierandcroft.co.uk to make a request. We may need to verify your identity without collecting more information than necessary. We normally respond within one month; extensions or exceptions can apply under data-protection law.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. You do not have to contact us first, although we welcome the opportunity to resolve a concern.
The current website does not load advertising or analytics tracking scripts. Technical server logs are separate from advertising tracking. We will review this notice and any required cookie choices before adding non-essential tracking.
External spare-parts links take you to a separate supplier website whose privacy policy and terms apply there. Online booking, shopping and Stripe checkout are not currently available on this website. This notice must be updated before new payment or booking features go live.
We use HTTPS for the public API and restrict access to server credentials. No online system is guaranteed to be completely secure. We will review security controls and update this notice when our services or data handling change.
